Cin-City Indoor Inferno

Turning up the heat!

The Indoor Inferno will run for 7 events:

• March 12, 2023

• April 16, 2023

• May 21, 2023

• June 18, 2023

• July 9, 2023

• August 13, 2023

• September 10, 2023

Teams will earn Seed Points and Placement Points.  Seed Points will be scaled based on the number of teams within the division and their ranking within that division at the conclusion of pool play. The last place team will early 6 points, with each team ahead of them receiving 6 more points than the one below.  Placement Points will be scaled based on the tournament finish layer. If a division is broken into multiple tournament levels (i.e. Gold vs. Silver), all levels within a division will be take into consideration for the scale.  The lowest layer of the tournament bracket will earn 18 points, with each level above that receiving 18 more points than the one below. A teams Seed Points and Placement Points will be combined at the end of the event. Team points will then be equally divided among each player on the team. This will determine the individual player’s points toward the Indoor Inferno. A player may earn points in multiple divisions.  However, a player may only receive a payout in one division.

In the event of a tie within a division, the tiebreaker will be decided by the higher number of tournaments participated within that division. If a tie still exists, then the tiebreaker will move to the higher number of total tournaments participated across all divisions.  If the tie is unable to be broken with the tiebreakers, then the prize money will be split evenly between the tied participants.
